PEMBROKE, Mass.- A crash involving injuries on Route 3 southbound in Pembroke caused heavy traffic congestion Wednesday afternoon with the left lane closed near Exit 27.4.
Massachusetts transportation officials reported the crash at 1:31 p.m., warning drivers to expect delays. By 2:06 p.m., heavy traffic congestion in the area had been confirmed.
The extent of the injuries and the number of vehicles involved were not provided.
