WRENTHAM, Mass.- Nighttime roadwork is underway on Interstate 495 southbound in Wrentham, where crews are conducting paving and roadway repairs between mile markers 37.5 and 36.5.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, intermittent lane closures began May 5 and are scheduled to continue through July 2 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Officials said at least one travel lane will remain open at all times.
The project includes micromilling, paving, line striping, and related roadway work. Traffic management may include lane and ramp closures with detours as needed. Work zone safety operations are being coordinated with the Massachusetts State Police and the Wrentham Police Department.
MassDOT said the schedule may change because of weather or staffing conditions.
