As the state government assures the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis is easing in the Commonwealth, phase 2 of the reopening process starts tomorrow, June 8th, 2020.

Phase 2 will develop in two steps. Step 1 starting tomorrow, and step 2 with a date to be determined based on health metrics.

Outdoor dining, beer gardens, retail stores, malls, child care, hotels, and other industries will be allowed to get back to business on step 1, with different levels of restrictions.

Indoor eating and personal services, such as nail salons, massage therapy, tattoo parlors, and others will reopen in step 2.

These businesses will need to follow several sector-specific protocols and best practices, including mandatory safety standards.
