MARLBOROUGH, Mass.- A crash closed the eastbound lanes of Interstate 290 at Exit 30 (Solomon Pond Road) in Marlborough Monday afternoon, causing heavy traffic and significant congestion in the area.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation reported the closure at 3:28 p.m. on August 10 and said it was expected to continue for several hours.
Heavy congestion is reported around the crash and the closed exit, with drivers encountering delays on eastbound I-290.
Drivers traveling through Marlborough should expect delays while the closure remains in effect.
