James F. Kane has announced his interest to continue in the Board of Selectmen, in his words: “to ensure an affordable, high quality community in which we can raise and educate our children and enjoy long into retirement.”
With many years involved in the communitarian politics, Kane reside in Shrewsbury with his wife Hannah Kane (running for state representative) and their 3 children.
Kane assures that he had a proven record of leadership on the Board of Selectmen and he will keep pushing to expand commercial tax base, promote an inclusive approach to leadership, fiscal stability and commitment to providing a high level of municipal services.
Kane is a Shrewsbury Selectman since 2009 and before that served in the Board of Assessors for 8 years. He is the Senior VP on A.D. Makepeace Company, a land holding company located in Southeastern Massachusetts.
