HOPKINTON, Mass.- The Truth About Choice abortion memorial will make its next stop in Hopkinton as Massachusetts Citizens for Life continues its statewide tour.
The exhibition memorializes the 49,450 abortions reported in Massachusetts in 2024, featuring lifelike fetal models representing different stages of prenatal development, with one model for each reported abortion.
The memorial launched at UMass Amherst on April 12 and will continue to additional Massachusetts locations throughout 2026.
“Once upon a time, we heard that abortion should be ‘safe, legal and rare,’” said Myrna Maloney Flynn, president of Massachusetts Citizens for Life. “Today, Massachusetts lies at the bottom of a slippery slope, having sold more than 49,000 abortions in 2024 alone.”
The Hopkinton exhibition will be held Saturday, September 12, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 20 Church St., with the display open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
