BOURNE, Mass.- A 49-year-old Bourne man escaped without injury Tuesday afternoon after the Ford F-350 he was operating lost traction and slid down a boat ramp, becoming fully submerged in the water.
The incident occurred at about 12:56 p.m. while the man was in the process of launching a boat at Taylors Point Boat Marina, according to the Bourne Police Department.
The 1997 Ford F-350 lost traction while the man was driving back up the boat ramp and began sliding down the ramp before becoming fully submerged.
The man was the vehicle’s only occupant and was able to exit without injuries.
