WORCESTER, Mass.- The remains of a woman believed to be Karen Solomon were recovered Monday in a wooded area off May Street in Worcester, according to police.
The Worcester Police Department said the remains were recovered August 24 as officers continued searching for Solomon, 58, following the death of her husband, Police Officer Kurt Solomon, last week.
Police had been searching for Karen Solomon since her husband was found deceased. On August 18, police said Solomon was last seen on foot walking toward Westcott Street and warned that she may be armed.
