
HOLBROOK, Mass.- A man was rescued after falling about 30 feet into a dry well at a water department facility in Holbrook.
The Norfolk County Technical Rescue Team responded to Holbrook to assist the Holbrook Fire Department with the rescue after the man fell into the approximately 30-foot-deep well.
Rescue team members entered the well and reached the injured man, where they provided medical care and stabilized him before preparing him for removal.
Crews above the well set up a tripod and rope system to lift the man to the surface. He was secured in a specialized harness and raised approximately 30 feet from the bottom of the well.
The man was then transferred to Holbrook Fire Department EMS for continued care and transport to a local trauma center.
