MARLBOROUGH, Mass.- Marlborough police officers began using body-worn cameras Wednesday as part of a new department program, according to an announcement from the Marlborough Police Department.
The department said officers were officially equipped with body-worn cameras beginning at 8 a.m. on Aug. 19.
According to the announcement, the program is intended to enhance community trust, improve safety and ensure accountability during officers’ shifts.
