BELLINGHAM, Mass.- A Bellingham paramedic is being recognized for helping save a 63-year-old man who suffered cardiac arrest at a Raynham martial arts facility.
The incident happened on the morning of July 26 at Lauzon Mixed Martial Arts. Paramedic Madison Anderson quickly recognized that the man was in cardiac arrest, began CPR and used an automated external defibrillator AED, delivering a shock before the Raynham Fire Department arrived.

Raynham Fire Department Chief Bryan LaCivita praised Anderson for her quick response, training and professionalism in a letter.
LaCivita said Anderson’s actions made a significant difference in the man’s outcome and thanked her for her efforts.
