BOURNE, Mass.- A crash on eastbound Route 6 in Bourne prompted the closure of the right travel lane Wednesday morning, causing potential traffic delays for motorists traveling across the Upper Cape.
The lane closure was reported at approximately 9:46 a.m. on July 1 by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. The affected area is located near mile marker 55 on Route 6 eastbound in Bourne.
Officials did not immediately release information about the number of vehicles involved, whether anyone was injured, or how long the lane closure was expected to remain in place.
Motorists traveling through the area were advised to anticipate delays and use caution while approaching the crash scene.
