BOSTON, Mass.- Two children operating a lemonade stand in South Boston were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon after two suspects approached, took cash, and fled the scene.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:44 p.m. on June 10, 2026, in the area of West Ninth Street. Boston Police responded to a report of an armed robbery.
According to statements, the children were running the stand when two unknown individuals passed the location multiple times before approaching and asking whether Apple Pay was accepted. Before the victims could respond, one suspect grabbed a box containing U.S. currency from the stand. The suspect then displayed a black firearm in his waistband before both suspects fled the area.
Boston Police said detectives are actively investigating the incident and working to identify the suspects.
