HOPKINTON, Mass.- A multi-vehicle crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike is causing significant traffic disruptions near the Westborough–Hopkinton line, according to fire officials and state transportation authorities.
Fire crews from Westborough and Hopkinton responded to the scene at mile marker 106, where the crash has impacted both eastbound and westbound travel lanes.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation reported that the two left lanes are closed in both directions on I-90 at the crash site. Traffic has been reduced to a single lane in each direction, contributing to extended delays for motorists.
The Westborough Fire Department reported the incident in a statement around 9:30pm on March 30, 2026.
Drivers traveling through the area are advised to seek alternate routes and expect congestion until the scene is cleared.
