The Worcester Police Department reported that officers executed a search warrant Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at a residence on Pilgrim Avenue in Worcester as part of what authorities described as a lengthy, multiagency investigation into the alleged manufacture and possession of illegal firearms.
According to the department, members of its Crime Gun Unit, Gang Unit and EOP/SWAT team carried out the warrant with assistance from the ATF and the United States Postal Inspection Service.
Police said investigators recovered approximately 16 handguns, seven rifles and two shotguns inside the residence. Officers also reported seizing 15 large-capacity magazines, 30 additional magazines and four suppressors. Authorities stated that the firearms and related components were in various stages of assembly or completion.
In addition, detectives reported finding hundreds of rounds of ammunition, body armor, a 3D printer and tools that police allege were used in the manufacturing of firearms.
A man was arrested at the scene, according to police, and is expected to be arraigned in Worcester District Court. Authorities did not release the individual’s name or specify the charges as of the initial announcement.
