On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the Shrewsbury Trails Committee celebrated the official opening of the new Rawson Hill Trails. Located near Prospect Street and Hill Street, close to Interstate 290, the 2.8-mile trail network leads to the highest point in Shrewsbury, offering sweeping views and a new highlight for local hikers.
The addition marks a major expansion of the town’s trail system, providing residents and visitors with scenic routes and a rewarding climb. Town officials thanked the committee for their efforts, stating, “Thank you to Shrewsbury Trails for creating these wonderful trails for our town to enjoy.”
