Shrewsbury firefighters responded early Tuesday morning to a vehicle fire near 876 Boston Turnpike (Route 9).
According to the Fire Department, crews from Engine 3 arrived to find a white Subaru fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters quickly began suppression efforts, but due to a large amount of gasoline in the vehicle, additional companies were called to provide a water supply to fully extinguish the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
