All public buildings in Shrewsbury will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025, in observance of Independence Day. Town offices, the public library, and other municipal facilities will resume regular operations on Monday, July 7, at 8:00 a.m.
In addition to the closures, residents are advised that trash and recycling services will follow a modified holiday schedule. Friday’s collection route will be delayed by one day, with pick-up occurring on Saturday, July 5.
