At approximately 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, the Westborough Fire Department issued a traffic alert regarding a motor vehicle crash with injuries on the Mass Pike eastbound, near the 105.6 mile marker.
Firefighters are responding to the scene and have begun rendering aid to those involved. The severity and number of injuries have not yet been confirmed, and authorities have not released details about how many vehicles were involved in the incident.
Drivers are being advised to expect delays in the area and to seek alternate routes if possible.
