In the early hours of September 9, 2024, Worcester Police were dispatched to 465 Shrewsbury Street following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. Upon arrival at approximately 2:45 AM, officers found the motorcyclist, a 26-year-old Westborough resident, had suffered fatal injuries. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
According to the initial investigation by the Crash Reconstruction Unit, the motorcyclist was traveling at a high speed when he collided with a vehicle making a left turn. The force of the impact caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle. While the vehicle sustained damage, none of its occupants were injured. The investigation is ongoing.
