Starting from the week of November 20 and continuing through the winter and early spring, Maple Avenue Park will undergo several improvements, as announced by the local government. These enhancements involve various tasks such as replacing the current water main line that supplies a fire hydrant, installing a new drainage system in the driveway, setting up electrical and irrigation conduits, and repaving the entire driveway loop once all utility work is finished.
During the construction period in the winter and spring, one entrance to the park will remain accessible at all times. Signage will be placed to guide construction traffic.
The project, funded at $750,055 through the American Rescue Plan Act, will be executed by Macura Excavating, said the local government.
