The Lady Colonials (21-2-2) played a hard-fought game, with goals from Taylor Ryder, Yasmine McKenzie, Madeline Mrva, and Paige Umile. Marisa Montoya made 19 saves to secure the victory.
The road to the championship was not an easy one for Shrewsbury. In the elite 8 round, they defeated Hingham High School in a thrilling 3-2 double-overtime victory. Then, in the final 4, they beat Notre Dame of Hingham 4-3 to earn their spot in the championship game.
