This musical program celebrates traditional Irish music and culture and will be performed on various instruments such as guitar, banjo, mandolin, Irish bouzouki, Irish bodhran (drum), harmonica, pennywhistle, and spoons.
With over 45 years of experience, Tincknell has performed for audiences of all ages in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He is known for his strong, expressive vocal styles, show-stopping yodeling, and masterful instrumental skills that bring warmth and versatility to his performances.
Tincknell has a background as a classroom teacher and music specialist, and he has pioneered programs in multicultural, environmental, and special needs education and curriculum development. He is a two-time Parents’ Choice Award-winning recording artist with numerous albums for both children and adults.
“From Ireland to America” promises to be a lively and engaging celebration of Irish music and culture, presented by a seasoned and talented musician with a wealth of experience in education and performance. The event will be held next Saturday, March 11th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
