
Shrewsbury residents are experiencing an Internet and phone outage since early morning on February 9, 2023.
The connection has been fluctuating since around 5:30 a.m., causing inconvenience to the residents. To report the issue, many users have taken to social media services.
At 7:00 a.m., Selco, the local public utility company, released a statement acknowledging the situation.
Selco revealed that there is a problem at their headend which is affecting both phone and Internet services. The company has assured the residents that their staff is working diligently to resolve the issue as soon as possible and has thanked them for their patience.

Selco announced around 8:00 a.m. that the issue was “fixed” and assured the phone and Internet service should be slowly coming back.
“You may experience intermittent connection loss during this time,” the public utility company stated.
