On April 4, 2022, the police department received a call about “a man attempting to break into a detached garage” located at 106 South Street in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, according to a press release from the agency.
Upon arrival, police officers prevented the suspect from leaving the scene in his vehicle, a black 2021 Ram pickup truck.
The suspect, identified by the police as 43-years-old Christopher Behr of Framingham, was removed from the truck, and “several stolen items from the garage were found” with him, the police said.
According to the law enforcement agency, the police officers “observe damage to the garage door, which appeared to be caused by the suspect forcing entry into the building.”
Behr was charged with breaking and entering daytime for felony, larceny under $1,200, larceny from a building, and vandalizing property.
