Shrewsbury Police investigates alleged daylight B&E by a “dark-skinned” male

In broad daylight, a “heavier set, dark-skinned” male in “his 20’s-30’s,” broke into a home in the Town of Shrewsbury, according to a report spread on Facebook by the local police.

Three Police agencies -including canines (K9s)- didn’t find the suspect, that allegedly committed the crime at 2A Whitehall Circle on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 12:55 p.m.

“Officers were dispatched immediately and arrived at the home within minutes,” the Shrewsbury Police stated. “After speaking with the caller and performing an initial investigation, it was determined that the suspect forced entry into the home through a rear door. When the suspect observed the caller inside of the home, he then fled,” the agency explained.

After an “extensive search of the surrounding area” performed by officers and K9s of the Shrewsbury Police, Westborough Police, and Massachusetts State Police; the suspect described as said above by the caller and that was also allegedly wearing a “dark-colored heavy type coat or parka,” was not found.
