The 2021 Softball Spring Season registration closes on January 31st, and it’s open for all players from 5 to 16 years old. All skill levels and non-Shrewsbury residents are welcome to participate.
The League is operating with the state and local health guidelines related to the COVID-19, after two successful seasons in 2020.
“Working within the appropriate state and local guidelines we successfully offered a summer and fall season for our players, age 5-16. We had participation from multiple communities from Hopkinton to Northbridge, and the feedback from players and parents has been very positive,” said the league co-VP Manny Gomes to the Shrewsbury Post.
The Clinic Series will be split in two, the 2021 All skills/Catching Clinic beginning on February 27th; and the 2021 Pitching Clinic, starting on January 31st. The clinics will be focused also on ages 5 to 16, and all ability levels.
Shrewsbury Little League is focused on ensuring a “fun positive playing experience while maintaining a competitive program.” In 2020 alone, the Girls Softball U16 team became Champions of the Summer Twin Valley League; and the U12 team made it to the finals.
