The public health advisory for Dean Park Pond, Flint Pond and Gauch Park area of Lake Quinsigamond has been lifted.
– Update, June 28th 12:00 p.m: the issue remains, avoid contact with the water.
The Shrewsbury Board of Health issued a public health advisory on June 26th, advising the public to avoid contact with the surface waters at the following locations:
- Dean Park Pond
- Flint Pond
- Lake Quinsigamond (North end, near Gauch Park)
The Board of Health will be testing the waters until they determine there’s no longer a threat for public consumption. Once there’s more information, it will be notified.
