Boston Marathon 2017, between Miles 18 and 19. (Credits: Lorianne DiSabato)The Boston Marathon, one of the most anticipated events in the year in Massachusetts, will gather several thousand spectators and runners all along the 26.2 mile course, from Hopkinton to Boston. In this year’s installment of the traditional marathon —the 122th to date—, 6 men and 10 women from Shrewsbury are registered to participate, and this is the full list of participants along with their ages:

All of them except for three will run in the Wave Four: Michael Kavanagh and Jim Tai (Wave One), and Wendy Nault (Wave Three). This year’s Marathon will take place on Monday, April 16th 2018, and will be televised live via WBZ-TV or CBS Local, starting tentatively at 8:40AM.
