The Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation have launched an initiative to give back to the neighborhood and keep the public grounds clean with the support of the community. The Clean Up Day is a town wide activity where voluntary groups can sign up to clean the local parks, schools or other public areas, and bags and t-shirts allusive to the initiative will be supplied for that task.
The activity will take place after the Winter, in the morning of Saturday, April 7th 2018 from 9AM to 11AM. The Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation have supplied a form available here, where the groups have to sign up and select which area in the town they want to clean up, and then return the form via e-mail or Angela Snell at the Parks & Recreation office (Town Hall, 100 Maple Ave, Shrewsbury MA 01545). The t-shirts will be supplied in a first come, first serve basis at the Dean Park on that Saturday morning.
