Shrewsbury neighbor reunited with her dog after 18 days missing

Spike, the dog of Shrewsbury neighbor Allison Morris, has returned to her owner after an almost 3 weeks absence. Reported missing in November 24th, the dog was intermittently seen around nearby areas of Shrewsbury and Northborough, and flyers and online searches were performed incessantly during these weeks in order to bring him home.

Finally this Tuesday, December 12th and 18 days later, a man called Mark Peris saw the dog and the flyers posted around town and reported it, leading to the reunion. The above picture was snapped by Mr. Peris right as Allison found him.

The original post that led to the reunion as well as the update received more than one thousand likes and hundreds of shares on Facebook, increasing the chances of finding the lost dog. Allison thanked Missing Dogs Massachusetts —the FB page where many other dogs have been reported missing—, and invited people to donate to their holiday fundraising, to keep up with the good work to reunite these lost pets with their caring owners.
