Capello Heavy Transport and Capello Custom Rac are set to host their first annual Truck Show on Sunday, July 30th, as a fundraiser to help fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The show will be held in memory of Malcolm McMillan, a worker for Capello who passed away from complications from ALS. All proceeds from the event will go to ALS One, a nonprofit organization that seeks to raise monies towards finding a cure and improving care for those with ALS.
The event will also feature a food tent, vendors selling spa and hair salon items, jewelry and clothing and a local DJ, plus live music from Elvis Monroe and others. Children will have a bouncy house, face painting, train rides and water slides.
The event will start at 8 am through 2 pm at 11 Commerce Road, Shrewsbury. Admission is $5 and includes a raffle ticket. Those who wish to show their truck will pay $25, and vendor spots are $100 each. For registration please visit this site, and for more information write to [email protected].
