The Shrewsbury High School (SHS) Alumni Association will be granting two scholarships to Shrewsbury High School students through their regular Scholarship program. The recognition is given to high school seniors who have made positive contributions through good citizenship and participation in extra-curricular life; preference will be given to applicants with relatives graduated from Shrewsbury High School or Major Howard Beal Memorial High School.
The Kitty Viscardi Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior who has been an active member of the SHS Speech & Debate Team during high school. This scholarship seeks to honor a student whose involvement on the team embodies Mrs. V’s dedication as well as her conviction that the greatest rewards come from simply participating.
The deadline for both applications is March 15th. For application details and more information regarding both scholarships offered, visit the SHSAA website, further questions can be addressed to Christina Manos via email.
