Founded in 1983 to serve the town, SYFS faced an “identity crisis.” Cassidy launched the “We Are SYFS” campaign, involving community leaders to raise awareness.
Under Cassidy’s leadership, SYFS has expanded its services, reaching out to the elderly, launching youth support groups, mentoring programs, and empowering middle schoolers. Collaborations with healthcare providers and aid to homeless families demonstrate SYFS’s commitment. Cassidy eagerly anticipates SYFS’s major fundraiser, emphasizing the reciprocal support between the organization and the community it serves.
