After graduating from Westfield State College, she opened the Gymnastics Learning Center (GLC) in 1983, aiming to foster self-esteem in students over mere skill acquisition or medals.
The GLC initially focused on gymnastics but expanded to include diverse programs such as Red Cross swim lessons and God’s Little Children preschool and kindergarten. Frongillo attributes GLC’s success to devoted employees and top-notch coaches who prioritize children’s well-being and love for gymnastics.
Beyond gymnastics, the center emphasizes community service and continuous improvement. Frongillo values gymnastics not just for physical skills but as a foundation for life lessons, and after 30 years, she feels blessed to share her passion with children at GLC every day.
